About SHC
Stanley Home Center was founded by Charles C. Stanley back in 1982. He started in the real estate business and received his Real Estate Brokers License in 1964. He was already in the insurance business and sold it in 1969 and started in residential construction. In 1982 he added Manufactured Housing along with the real estate. At that time his son, Mitch Stanley, came on board as the Construction/Service Manager.
Modulars were added when they grew in popularity in the late 80’s and early 90’s and he started focusing on them because he knew they were going to be the homes of future. In 2001 he brought on his youngest son, Todd H. Stanley, as Office Manager. Charles is now mainly focusing on the real estate aspect of the business while Todd and Mitch take care of the Modular Home Center.
We are located right in the middle of Dobson, NC at the corner of Atkins Street and Ryan Street. We are Licensed Building Contractors and a factory approved sales center with Carolina Building Solutions located in Salisbury, NC. We have three models on our lot to view. We are family owned and operated and have been since we started. We have won numerous top builder awards over the years with different manufacturers. We credit that to the wonderful past customers that we have been blessed with but mainly we credit it to our faith in God. Without him we cannot accomplish anything.
